Privacy Policy
Strela City is deliberately data-frugal: no cookies, no tracking, no advertising, locally hosted fonts — and the map only loads when you explicitly ask it to.
1. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
SundPark Media — Tom Reiner (sole proprietorship)
Gartenstraße 74, 18442 Niepars, Germany
E-mail: info@strelacity.com · Phone:

2. General
We process personal data only insofar as this is necessary to provide the website and to handle your enquiries. Processing is carried out in accordance with the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). There is no profiling and no automated decision-making.
3. No cookies, no tracking
This website does not embed any analytics, reach-measurement or advertising services and sets no tracking cookies. No third-party content is loaded unless you open a map (see section 6). Only technically necessary functions, or functions you trigger yourself, are executed.
4. Functional local storage
Strela City stores only functional settings in your browser (web storage) that never leave your device: the chosen mode (Visit/Live), the chosen language, and the fact that you have already seen the first-visit choice. This serves convenience alone (your choice is remembered) and is not used for recognition, analysis or sharing. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functional, convenient website). You can delete this data at any time via your browser settings.
5. Local fonts
The fonts used (Newsreader and Hanken Grotesk) are served exclusively from our own server. No data is transmitted to providers of external font services (e.g. Google Fonts).
6. Maps (loaded only on click)
Maps are not loaded automatically. As long as you do not actively open a map, no map provider is contacted and no IP address is transmitted to third parties. Only when you click “Open the map” is an interactive map (MapLibre) loaded and map tiles are retrieved from the map service OpenFreeMap; for technical reasons your IP address is transmitted to its servers in the process. This retrieval only happens upon your explicit action (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, consent by actively opening it). If you wish to avoid this, simply do not open the map.
7. Trades directory
The trades directory is a neutral, editorially maintained orientation aid containing publicly accessible business details (trade, company name, address, phone where applicable) plus source and check date. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a local orientation aid). There are no ratings or rankings. Businesses concerned may object to or have their entry corrected at any time — informally at eintrag@strelacity.com. The ten entries currently shown are marked as sample data until the real local survey is in place.
8. Hosting and server log files
When the website is accessed, the hosting server (SundWolke, operated in Germany) automatically processes technically necessary data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, file retrieved, volume of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This data serves the delivery of the page, trouble-free operation and security. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Log data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted after a short period.
9. Contact by e-mail
If you contact us by e-mail (general info@strelacity.com, form submissions formular@strelacity.com, directory entry eintrag@strelacity.com), we process the data you provide solely to handle your request and any follow-up communication. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. Your data is not passed on to third parties for advertising purposes and is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
10. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons this site uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar.
11. Your rights
You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:
- access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
To exercise them, an informal message to info@strelacity.com is sufficient.
12. Right to lodge a complaint
Without prejudice to other remedies, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (datenschutz-mv.de).
13. Currency
This privacy policy is dated June 2026 and will be adapted in the event of material changes.
