Accessibility Statement

We want Strela City to be usable by as many people as possible — regardless of ability, input device or technology.

Scope

This statement applies to the website published at www.strelacity.com.

Conformance status

As a private company, we voluntarily follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA as well as the German Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0). According to our self-assessment, the website is largely compliant with these requirements; individual exceptions are named below.

Measures implemented

• sufficient colour contrast, including checked amber and aqua tints on light surfaces;
• a consistent heading hierarchy and semantic HTML with landmarks;
• full keyboard operability with a clearly visible focus ring (a dual ring that works on both light and dark surfaces);
• a “skip to content” link at the top of the page;
• the first-visit choice (Visit/Live) is non-blocking, has no focus trap and can be closed with Escape;
• labelled controls (language and mode switchers, search) with ARIA markup;
• text alternatives for informative images; purely decorative graphics marked aria-hidden;
• support for prefers-reduced-motion — reveals, the light thread and the pulse are then reduced to a calm, static state;
• a responsive layout, adequately sized touch targets and legible font sizes;
• locally hosted fonts with no external calls; maps load only on click.

Non-accessible or partially accessible content

Some images are currently graphic placeholders; they carry a meaningful image description and are gradually being replaced with real imagery and equivalent alternative text. The interactive map loaded after a click comes from a third party; its keyboard and screen-reader operability may be limited. Should you notice any further barrier, we will remedy it promptly.
